SCG 5.10, I must use yast to set IP?

Any one had experience issue installing SCG version 5.10 virtual edition? The wizard in VMware setting parameter are not working? Because at this time I completed installation but I have to use yast to set ip address manual. Also the TCP port 5700 is not available? What commands do I need to run via cli to check consistency and if services are up and running?
