ESXi, Celerra, Mirror view A/S and Clone

Hi all,

maybe, simple question for a lots of EMC/VMware CELERRA/VMware expert (i'll cross posto on unified storage comm)....

Site A = Celerra NS-120 with Mirrow AS

Site B = Celerra NS.120 with Mirrow AS

VMware SRM and MirrorView AS

may i schedule a clone of one mirrored LUN and mount it on a production server if i need (a VM on ESXì)? So i need to clone (during the night) and mount LUN on ESXi server.

maybe day after clone again, delete previous cloned LUN and mount again on ESXi. I think that cloning can be automated but mounting on ESXi has to be a manual operatiom.

what do you think about?
