it typically happens when you replace an HBA, it needs to be reconnected to the host. Right click on the storage group and go into properties, Hosts tab. Cntrl+Shift+F12 (enter engineering mode password) and then click on the host and add a check mark next to the new paths.

Just as Dynamox mentioned, these are not part of any storage group. It seems you have logged in with 'engineering mode' enabled.

If you want to hide ~management, you can just disable engineering mode. Or if you don't want to use this initiators, you can de-register them.

on one of my host in vsphere, I am seeing 8 paths to the lun and showins 4 (active I/O)

but on another host, it only shows 4 paths to the lun and all paths show (active I/O)

I changed all hosts to failovr mode 4 and thy are using round robin.

any idea why this one particular hosts is only showing 4 paths and not 8?

In navisphere, under connection status, it does show all 8 paths

What is the failover mode set for that host in Clariion ? With mode set to 1 you may expect this .
