Changed password on Celerra, need help reconfiguring vmware plugin

We were told to change the passwords on our Celerra for both nasadmin and root.  Even though they are only accessable on an internal network, a vulnerability scan was able to detect the default credentials, and theres that concern of "what if" a really knowledgeable employee finds the Celerra and logs into it, when they shouldn't be messing around.

So once these passwords were changed, we need to reconfigure the VMWare plugin in vSphere.  Well I go to do this, but there also seems to be a DHSM username and password.  The prior screen seems to see that it's called dhsm_user, but we have no idea what the password would be.  So I figured I would just change it... so I log into the Celerra with SSH as root and do the normal passwd dhsm_user but it says that user doesn't exist!  Then how was the plugin working in the first place?

I did open a ticket, but on a low priority.  Just curious if anyone knows how to reset the password for this or maybe what a default password would be that we could try.  There is a /home/dhsm_user folder.

sauerk,

Take a look at Clint's post and see if that helps you out:

And you may also want to look at Nick's unsupported GUI:

Hope that helps,
