At release of that VMAX3 platform, the maximum was 16 TB but in later HYPERMAX OS releases it increased to 64TB. 240GB is the maximum for a VMAX 20K (termed a VMAX2).

Sometimes having a blog pays off because I was about to go blind searching through RNs.
VMAX3 HYPERMAX 5977 2015 Q3 SR – Dell EMC VMAX and PowerMax with VMware
BTW I should point out dynamox is right 99% of the time so he gets a mulligan on me here.

240GB???!!
64TB as documented but I believe you may face performance issue with such huge single Volume.
