How to Upgrade from Solution Enabler w/SMI-S Bundled

Current running environment:

VM running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise (64bit)

Solutions Enabler v7.6.2.67 with SMI-S provider v4.6.2.29 (se76267-WINDOWS-x64-SMI.exe)

Unisphere for VMAX v1.6.2.13 (UNIVMAX_V1.6.2.13_WINDOWS_X86_64.exe)

Am planning to upgrade to:

SE 8.2.0.0 that appears to include (selection during upgrade?) SMI-S provider 8.2.0.0

Unisphere for VMAX v8.2.0.5

I have the most current  Solutions Enabler 8.2.0 Installation and Configuration Guide and the SE/VSS Provider/SMI-S Provider 8.2.0 Release Notes.

Question:

In the SE 8.2.0 Installation and Configuration Guide, page 84, Upgrade SMI-S Provider section, after making backup of the cst and ssl folder (step 2), I am instructed in step 3 to "Uninstall the existing version of SMI provider". Trouble is, the current version of SMI-S is bundle with Solution Enabler (see above). There is no uninstaller for just SMI-S provider.

How do I satisfy this requirement?
