can a masking view be amended ie can i change the pg within an existing mv
can a masking view be amended .ie. can I change the pg within an existing masking view using cli command?

You cannot replace a PG with a new one for an existing masking view. All you can do is edit the PG. You can add in the new ports into the existing one and remove the old ports, effectively "changing" the PG. You can then later rename the PG, if required.
Make sure the zoning is in place for the new FA ports. Hope this helps.

Roshan is right, you cannot replace a PG in MV but you just want to amend the existing PG in a MV and that can be done online. Just follow the steps by roshan
