Windows Security updates failing

Anyone else seeing Windows Security (aka: Windows Defender) definition updates failing when updating via Windows Update?

According to the WU's update history, WD update KB2267602 v1.339.26.0 has failed to install 6 times today on my Win 10 Pro, 20H2, desktop.

When I try to install the update manually, it starts to download the update, gets to ~50% downloaded and then errors out with:

"There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643)"

After rebooting the PC, I still see the same error message, even with no other apps open, aside from those that are normally loaded during boot...

Wow, 3 hours from your post and I'm the only one to say me too? Not on a Dell PC either, just a standard Intel NUC.

@Eaglehawk_Computers   - Misery loves company!

Booted my PC this AM and manually ran WU to check for updates. It said:  "Up to date".

I checked the Win 10 Reliability Monitor and it logged another failure for KB2267602 v1.339.26.0 again this morning at 10:09 AM, but followed that with: KB 2267602 v1.339.75.0 was successfully installed at 10:10 AM.

I assume .75.0 includes all the updates that were in .26.0 so the problem should be side-stepped.

Just makes me wonder what's going on at Microsoft, this time...??

EDIT: This morning's error code is 0x8024200B, which is different from the error code yesterday...
