Windows 10 End-of-Support Date: 14 October 2025

With acknowledgement to Corrine Chorney, for posting at Landzdown...  Windows 10 End of Support Date 14 October 2025! (landzdown.com)

A number of articles have appeared and confirmed at Windows 10 Home and Pro - Microsoft Lifecycle | Microsoft Docs.

Interesting.   My understanding had been Windows 10 would be an ongoing "Windows as a service", without formally "advancing" to a newer version. Whether the next generation is known as Win 11 or SunValley, I wonder if Microsoft will allow (dare I say, encourage) then-existing Win10 users to freely upgrade?

Clarification:

EXTENDED support for Windows 10 will end on Oct. 14, 2025;

MAINSTREAM support has already ended (five years earlier) on Oct. 13, 2020
