Sorry for any confusion, but the post was a copy/paste from CCleaner itself... they are the "our", NOT DELL.   Dell has nothing to do with CCleaner.   CCleaner is owned by avast.

Great news! Does this announcement mean Dell officially supports CCleaner, are they partners or something? If I buy a new Dell laptop, maybe it will have the CCleaner kind of reserved or tailored for it? I want to make sure to avoid counterfeits, I guess you know this story

CCleaner for Windows has been hacked to spread malware to users of the 32-bit version.

Second, what about its features, how good it is in preventing redirect viruses? In particular, I am concerned with Yahoo redirect. They say, it's a mac issue, but it actually affects browsers so that it is a cross-platform threat.

You may say 'hey, dude, CCleanber says it straight - CCleaner can't detect or remove viruses, spyware, or malware'. True, but this is more about cleaning cookies and protecting web privacy, it is what CCleaner is meant to do!
