Updates 12/14/21 - "Microsoft Tuesday"
Today is "Microsoft Tuesday" --- the SECOND Tuesday of the month --- on which Microsoft is expected to release its monthly cycle of Windows security updates. Based on previous history, they should become available at 1 P.M. [USA - Eastern STANDARD Time]

Malicious Software Removal Tool (MSRT) 5.96
The tool is included as part of Windows Updates. But if you prefer, you can download it separately:
For 32-bit x86-based systems: Download the x86 MSRT package now.

Runs in detect-only mode. In this mode, malicious software will be reported to the user, but it will not be removed.

Moonchild's thoughts about the future of PaleMoon in 2022, and why he (reluctantly) decided to reinstate FUEL: "because it's clear that [if not reinstated,] people would rather just jeopardize their safety and security rather than putting in some effort to make extensions they are using compatible. So [with FUEL back], FEBE and NoSquint and other popular extensions that build on long-since deprecated abstractions will work and continue to work".
