SuperAntiSpyware
Needed to run SAS tonight and got an alert that a new version was available. I ok'd the download but got:
securedownloads.superantispyware.com expired on 8/24/2022.
So how do I get the newest update if the security certificate expired 3 days ago?

Ron,
One option is to wait it out... hopefully another day or two... for them to realize what's going on, and renew/update their security certificate.
Alternatively, you should be able to download it from a "safe" mirror site, such MajorGeeks:
Download SUPERAntiSpyware - MajorGeeks
That being said, SAS is NOT what it used to be... I use it to clean up some cookies periodically... but I can't recall how many YEARS it's been since it actually found some real malware.

Thanks. I'll wait it out for now.
Given the issue I posted, I just wanted to throw as many scans at the problem as I could to see if this PC was infected. Didn't find anything with SAS, Windows Defender or Malwarebytes.
It seems there's something wrong with the IP address this PC is assigned by my ISP for Ethernet, since Google/Gmail thinks it's in Hong Kong, rather than USA. With a different IP address that's assigned by my ISP for WiFi, the problem goes away. So, hopefully, this was only a false alarm.
I've contacted my ISP and Google. Can't wait to hear all their excuses...
