Playing a CD on my laptop
I have Windows 8.1 on my laptop. When I insert a music CD, I get a message that says "There is a disc with an unsupported format in drive (D:)". How do I get the CD to play? I'm a little "tech challenged" so I'm sure it's a simple fix. My computer automatically is set to play videos and I don't know how to change that.

Hi,
What application do you use to play audio. You can use the default music app to recogonize the DVD/ cd that you are trying to play or use windows media player as they are the default players.
To change autoplay settings for audio, you can refer to the link here

Let me know if this helps you.
