NoSquint add-on
I have been using the NoSquint add-on for years now, in Firefox, PaleMoon, and MyPal. When first installed, it seemed to be essential (for anyone who found the default text settings to be way-too-tiny). [Prior to NoSquint, I had used Default FullZoom , which likewise fell out of use/existence]
Recent updates to PaleMoon have rendered NoSquint worthless... it no longer functions therein.
However, all is not lost: by
1) disabling NoSquint in PaleMoon (which then requires PM to be restarted), and
2) going to about:config , and toggling browser.zoom.siteSpecific to true , it's "workable" to access your sites, albeit one by one, and adjust their magnification (ctrl + for larger, ctrl - for smaller). PaleMoon should now remember your adjustments upon revisiting the site (even after closing the session).
--------------------------------------
I then noticed that while the DEFAULT magnification setting in NoSquint worked in Firefox, FF was no longer "remembering" adjustments/customizations from one session to the next. So I likewise disabled NoSquint in FF (and confirmed the browser.zoom.siteSpecific setting was already at true --- it did not need to be toggled). Yes, it's tedious to reset/customize the magnification on each page visited, but it's "doable".
