McAfee Subscription Renewal Cancellation Nightmare!

Hello, I hope you all are doing well. This issue started in February of 2024. I received a Dell invoice for $124.00. At that time I had no idea what the invoice was for since I had not ordered anything from Dell recently. So I contacted the Comenity Bank who were handling Dell Credit account purchases to find out what this bill was for. Here is where the runaround begins. Comenity Bank says they don't know what the bill is for and that Dell would have to tell me what it is if I want to have them it removed from my Dell credit account bill. So I contact Dell who informs me that this bill is for a McAfee Subscription Renewal. I didn't remember ordering a McAfee Subscription Renewal, that's because it was automatically renewed for a for the Dell laptop I had ordered a year earlier. So I immediately have that McAfee Subscription Renewal cancelled. Contact Comenity Bank Dell Credit and pass all of that information on to them including the Dell Service Cancellation Notice and email verification of the McAfee Subscription Renewal cancellation. You think that that would have been the end of it. Cutting a long, long story short after all these months, all of the numerous communication with Comenity Bank and Dell the only thing that has changed is my credit rating which has been destroyed because of this banks refusal to honor Dells cancellation of the McAfee Subscription Renewal even though I have provided them with all the proof they have asked for. Now they have sent this bill including accrued late fees and interest to an outside bill collection agency after being under dispute with them for 11 months just to prolong my aggravation. I have been a good Dell customer for more than 10 years. I have made numerous purchases from them with no issues. This really seems like such a petty, lame and stacked up issue to be loosing good lifetime customers over. Never mind the damage it does to your brand. I still have a few people to talk to who I think would love to hear this story if Dell Credit doesn't finally clear this up. One last thing, my last conversation with a Dell Credit person at Comenity Bank was that  McAfee Subscription Renewals are not refundable. I know for a fact that they are if you cancel within a specific time period. I was within that time period and sent them the information to prove it. If anyone can provide me with any help to get this nightmare over please let me know.

Loyal Dell Customer Gone bad,

Tony

@DELL-Cares Please can I ask for help... I'm in the UK with a new Inspiron 16 laptop... I think with McAfee on it ?? a free month.

I've tried looking a how to end the subscription - to prevent an ongoing purchase, but can't grasp it. I've read to go to McAfee and to 'my account' to do this but I don't seem to have an account - I've tried the sign-in options and my email doesn't seem to be registered with them.. and it keeps taking me to the 'buy a subscription' area... there is no 'create' an account etc. I feel like I'm stuck in a dead end. Please can you advise? Thanks Shezzieh
