laptop performance
I recently joined the microsoft windows 11 insider program to have access to a phone app which I could only get by joining this club. I am a nurse and have no clue about computer software programming. Since I've joined my laptop performance has decreased. I definitely want to replace it with my original windows 11 home edition. Do I perform a complete restore or just a timestamp from a time in the past? I don't have an external usb drive but I also don't have any data on my laptop that I need to save.

Always include exact PC model in your posts.
Why do you think joining the Insider group has affected performance? Exactly what's changed?
You could search in Win 11 for "create system restore". When that opens, there should be a System Restore button. Click that and it will show you available restore points. Assuming you know when you became an Insider, select the latest restore point available before you did.
If that doesn't help, you could do a Windows Reset which should take you back to the way Dell shipped this PC. It may give you the option to keep apps you installed and personal files, but you will likely have a large number of Windows updates to install, so allow lots of time...
