Kaspersky antivirus ?

Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) warned on 3-15-22 against using any Kaspersky products. The agency says the Russian government could use Kaspersky’s IT infrastructure “as a tool for attacks against its customers".

BSI points out that consumers may be the least at risk of a cyber-attack, but you could be the victim of collateral damage if Kaspersky itself becomes the victim of a cyber operation, Russian or otherwise. Your personal data could end up falling into the wrong hands as a result of a cyber-attack.

Without naming names, Italy’s Computer Security Incident Response Team called for an analysis of the risks of using IT security solutions developed in Russia.
