Google extends Chrome support for Win 7

Google originally planned to end Chrome support for Win 7 in 2021 but has now extended the date by six months in light of the pandemic.

As of January 2022, Google will no longer support Chrome for Win 7. After that time anyone running Win 7 will be unable to update or access Chrome unless they upgrade to Win 10.

Microsoft stopped supporting Win 7 in January 2020, so it's not surprising Google will stop supporting Win 7 too, just later than originally planned...
