vCenter and Hosts greyed out?

Hi -

Im running Foglight v7 in trial mode.

I have added 2 vCenter system. One vCenter 5.0 and one 5.5.

I added both into Foglight using a service account with VMware admin rights.

The 5.5 system shows up quicly and everyting is monitored nice.

The 5.0 system is added but then hosts, datastores etc are greyed out. Any idea what Im missing here? Is there a limit on trial key to only one vCenter?

Kind r

Bjørn.

Hi - there is no limit on the trial licenses, you can monitor multiple vCenters with it, it does sound like a permission problem, but as you say you added them with admin permissions, we need to get hold of the agent log file and see what error it has in it, email directly at danny_german@software.dell.com and I'll reply privately and help you get this sorted out - thanks Danny

How large is the 5.0 vCenter in terms of # of VMs/Hosts/Datastores?

About 1100 VMs, 150 Datastores, 50 hosts.

Im trying to get support from Dell here. The email to Danny did not work.
