You can use the Infrastructure Cartridge with Windows System agent to monitor the vCenter service.
Take a look through this documentation.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have been trying using Infrastructure catridge only. The thing is I am not getting any alerts or mails generated for the vcenter service in vFoglight. But I added it under monitored services. I think we dont get any rules created by default for service monitoring.

When vCenter service stops, vFoglight won´t be able to collect any data from it.
There is a default rule in vFoglight called "VMW Agent Updates" which checks that data is being received from vCenter.
If you only monitor vCenter service, service could be running but someone changed password for the collection account and then collection stops.
Above is the best and easiest approach to make sure vFoglight is collecting sucessfuly from vCenter.
The Infrastructure cartridge can be used as a compliment to detect if service stops and restart it if needed.

I am using vFoglight 6.6 and Fgalm 5.6.2.1. Today I installed OS catridge 5.5.4 to get more rules/alerts related to Services. It got installed and enabled succesfully but I try to deploy an agent pakage for the Host in management server I am not seeing any OSCartridge-Agents
Not sure how to get this and configure.

Thanks for the quick reply sathya. The FGALM agent is installed on both the vFoglight manager aswell as the Host Server. But still I am not getting it under deploy aget pckage window to select. what could be the issue. I have regreshed the agent windows and tried.

Hi Raghavendra,
Could you please clarify below:
1. You installed the OS cartridge 5.5.4 under cartridge inventory & installed/enabled successfully.
2. After you installed, you tried to 'deploy an agent pakage for the Host in management server'
How do you deploy the agent package?
1. Administration | Agents | Agents Staus -> Deploy Agent Package.
You see two drop down box here:
Select host (Which your FgLAM host)
Select PAckage (where you select the Os-package)
Is your FgLAM 5.6.2.1 is up & running on your Host in management server?
If yes, then under Select host it would list.
If not, it wouldn't list it.
But, you can also deploy the OS package to any FgLAM host & edit the properties for the Host in management server to get more alerts for that host.
Thanks,
