Poker Chips not Spinning?
&
You are not authorized to access view "Widget" Spinner w/Popup (No Unit, Threshold Indicator)"
Above are the error messages I received when creating a dashboard for a group of users, My goal is to create a view which only allows them to see the dashboards assigned to them and nothing else. I've assign the roles Dashboard Users and a created group for the Application User, the view I assigned in the dashboard was "VM performance view (Utilization: Virtual Machine-Quick View)" which is a predefined selectable view for reports and dashboards.
After spending about 40 minutes on the call with support, his conclusion was this was beyond his technical level, please help.
Thanks.

This is a common problem in vFoglight. The role need to access the poker chips (Spinny) dials depends on the view that you selected when you created the dashboards. vFoglight 6.6 will help with many of these role issues but for now I recommend you contact your local Quest Presales engineer to see if they can help. The presales engineers have alot more expierence building dashboards than support.
You can also try my vBundle-1 Cartridge for vFoglight that may give you the views you are looking for:
Cartridge and Documentation are avaiable at: ftp://vbundle:vBundleA1@ftp.vmmonitor.com/

I was able to locate what controlls the poker chips and it turns out to be a configuration issue, and after discussing the issue with a tech at VMware this past year he saild it will be in fixed in the next release.
