Licensing information in vFoglight Pro 6.6.1
I'm trying to learn how to pull up licensing information in my company's vfoglight install. My lead wants me to figure out how to pull information from vfoglight that can show us how many licenses we currently own for the product verus what we're currently using in our envronment. Is there a way I can pull that information out of vFoglight?

Hello Justin,
Not quite sure I understand your question. Are you looking for where to find the installed lic in vFoglight console?

I believe we've purchased 50 socket license for our vFoglight environment however we need to verify if all 50 sockets are in use right now or not. That's basically the information we're trying to find out. I know its in there because when we setup vFoglight a year ago we over provisioned are environment and we had to true up and take some systems out of vFoglight. Since then we've done a lot of machine consolidation and streamlining. If we have sockets out there tied to systems no longer in use it would be great to reclaim them back and use them on or development system. Does my question make sense now?

Hi Justin,
As far as I know, we dont actually enforce licensing limits. However, it is the customer's best effort to maintain that they are within usage limits.
Thanks,
