Foglight for Storage Monitoring EMC DMX
The EMC DMX is not listed as a supported device which can be monitored through Foglight. Has anyone successfully been able to use Foglight to monitor one of these devices and is there by chance any kind of documentation or guide which may possibly grant insight on how it was accomplished? Thanks in advance!

The DMX product line seems to be being phased out by EMC. Foglight for Storage Management doesn't officially support any of them, but they are similar enough to the CLARiiON and VNX arrays from our point of view that you might have luck monitoring them as such. We cannot offer support for this however.
If you do want to try, there is one thing you have to watch out for: you must have version 4.6.2.3 or 4.6.2.9 of EMC's SMI-S provider (that's based on Solution's Enabler 7.6.2.26 https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-19629) installed. Later versions do not appear to support SMI-S collection from DMX arrays at all.
