VDI using vWorkspace with vGPU for Autocad
Hi, i need support with the next situation.
I'm installing vWorkspace to create virtual machine with vGPU to use Autocad design software.
This is the configuration
Hyper-V Server
Dell PowerEdge R270
Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
112GB RAM
Intel Xeon CPU E5-2640 2.5Ghz
NVIDIA GRID K1
Driver 321.01 (Latest driver)
Driver Model: WDDM 1.3
DirectX 11
vWorkspace Server
Virtual Machine
WIndows Server 2012 R2 Standard
8 GB RAM
4 Virtual CPUs
Quest vWorkspace x64 8.0.306.1462
Hyper-V Settings Physical GPUs is OK
I create a computer group "Design" with two computer with Standard Video Adapter.
The configuration template for Design Computer Group is:
-2 Virtual CPUs
-4GB RAM
-Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 x64
-All Windows Updates.
-Latest Integration Services.
-All vWorkspace requirements: PNTools, Domain Joined, InstantProvisioning, etc.
-Include Autodesk Autocad 2014.
I add a Microsoft RemoteFX vGPU to one computer "Design001".
I leave Design002 with the Standard Video Adapter.
After a lot of tests , i not obtain difference of performance between the two VDI.
And the graphics in Autocad are very limited.
I wonder if something is missing in my setup and if this configuration is supported.

Morning,
I'm interested to hear an answer for this too... I have a requirement where one of our users who recently migrated to vWorkspace VDI is using AutoCAD and I'm thinking to install it as Virtualized Application on the App Server and publish it to the user.
Any thoughts...
Regards,
