ViPR SRM and SAS (SMARTS /M&R (aka W4N))

Question

Hi,

I am looking for info about the integration between ViPR and Solution Assurance suite in particular SMARTS and M&R (aka W4N).

I know that those tools can interact but I don't know how and what they can do.

Up to now my goal is to be able to receive alerts/events from VIPR SRM into SMARTS/W4N in order to have a consolidate view.

Anyone has experienes/suggestions/documents that might help me?

If iI understand you correctly, you just want to know how to send stuff from watch4net to SAM? then use the watch4net alerting engine.

You can either use the snmp trap and send it to your trap adapter or in newer version there is a send to SAM action on the right shown in the screen shot - send to SAM is easier.
