ViPR SRM 4.1.1 Solution Pack for Brocade FC Switch
Need your assistance.
I have successfully installed and configured ViPR SRM 4.1.1. vApp.
I have successfully installed a number of Solution Packs.
I have successfully installed Solution Pack for Brocade FC Switch. After successful install, performed the configuration per ViPR-SRM-4.1.1 SolutionPack-Guide.PDF.
1). Clicked on Discovery Center > Inventory Management
2). Clicked Brocade SMI Provider
3). Clicked Add new Device
4). Completed the Brocade SMI Provider configuration details
5). Clicked Validate and Add
Received the following error:
Line 30: tcp-connect: command returned with a non-zerio status (status: 5)
java-net.ConnectionException: Connection refused
What could be the issue?
Sure would appreciate your advice.
Thank you.

Hey RMC@dellemc:
The error indicates you cannot connect to the SMI provider, pretty generic error.
I would check the simple things first.
Make sure the ports are open 5989, 5988, and 161 or 162.
I would also make sure that the same user name and password used during discovery is the same ones you are using when logging into the SMI provider.
per the support matrix, these are the supported SMI providers.
CMCNE/BNA 11.1.x, 11.2.1, 12.0.x, 12.1.x, 12.3.x, 12.4.x, 14.0.x, 14.1.x, 14.2 CMDCE/DCFM 10.4.x
If none of that helps, I would look at the collector log for more details. ( you can paste here or feel free to open a service request, if you need quicker help
Thahks
