ViPR Failed to establish connection
I'm just getting started with ViPR and already am having problems. I've installed the EMC SMI-S provider onto a windows host and have added two VNX's to the provider and it reports back like this :
SMI-S Provider Server:
Windows_NT WIN-MKVO7G0E34E 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 x86_64 VM Guest OS (64bit Li
raries)
Solutions Enabler version: V7.6-1808 2.67
Firmware version information:
(Remote) CLARiiON Array APM00123002723 (Rack Mounted VNX5300) : 05.32.000.5.215
(Remote) CLARiiON Array APM00150419392 (Rack Mounted VNX5400) : 05.33.008.5.119
I have disabled the windows firewall, and have added the provider into ViPR but am still getting an error. I enabled console root access to the ViPR platform, and am able to ping the windows system that has the SMI-S provider on it. Is there anything that I could test from the command line of the ViPR platform to get a better understanding of what is failing?

Well, I guess I answered my own question - for whatever reason after leaving the system sit and soak for an hour, it appears to have connected properly and is no longer giving me errors.
