Polling Interval Modification - VNX
Hello,
The default polling interval for VNX quota information is 6 hours (21,600 seconds).
We would like to have it collected on a more frequent basis in order to more effectively alert users to quota issues.
However, it appears this is not configurable on the VNX solution pack.
How do we accomplish this?
What are the implications of this change (other than possible performance impacts to relevant collection hosts)?

Hi DaveSchaf,
You can do this by editing the value in the vnxfile-quota.xml file (Stream-Collector::emc-vnx in centralized-management or /opt/APG/Collecting/Stream-Collector/emc-vnx/conf/parsers if you prefer cli) and restarting the VNX collector-manager.
One important detail: this value will be reset to default if you reconfigure the SolutionPack or update.
Short of polling it every 5 minutes, the impact should be relatively minimal.
