The following sections list some non-EMC tools that can be used for ViPR troubleshooting and log collection.

REST Clients

• FireFox Addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/restclient/ get HTTP requests directly from the ViPR REST API
• Chrome Addon: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fhjcajmcbmldlhcimfajhfbgofnpcjmb get HTTP requests directly from the ViPR REST API

  CIMOM Tools 

• CimNavigator: http://cimnavigator.com/ is a graphical browser tool written in Java that can be used to manipulate CIM objects hosted on CIMOMs on remote or local computers.

  Terminal Emulator

• PuTTY:  http://www.putty.org/ can be used to SSH into the ViPR appliance or a UNIX/Linux server that is being discovered

FTP Clients 

• WinSCP: http://winscp.net/eng/index.php can be used to transfer files to and from the ViPR appliance.
• FileZilla: http://filezilla-project.org/ can be used to transfer files to and from the ViPR appliance.

LDAP Browser

• JXplorer: http://jxplorer.org/ a standards compliant general purpose LDAP browser that can be used to read and search any ldap directory
