"No Server available at this time" when installing ViPR Solution Pack

Im working through standing up the ViPR controller and monitoring package today and hit a snag while following the quick start guide.

When I go to add the ViPR solutions pack to the MnR interface i get the following error after clicking install

"There's no server available at this time, please contact your administrator!"

I followed the guide step by step, so not sure what I missed, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Justin

Hi Justin,

Are you working with production ViPR or the no-charge ViPR software download?

So is this just an issue tieing ViPR to the Monitoring and Reporting engine ? or does it mean that the free ViPR is just unusable until it is fixed ?

Currently working with the free download software (and free licensing).

However Im a partner so I may put a request in for NFR licensing but that will take some time and be later on.

The former--and its just in the free download package; production version is fine. The free ViPR Controller in the download is solid.

Hi Justin,

We are aware of this error; just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same thing. We know what went awry, have just identified the fix, and are working to provide a remedy in an update to the ViPR software download. We appreciate your interest and are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this situation.

Regards,

Mark

If it is what I think this is - there is a licensing issue.  Obtaining a license for more devices would get you past your issue.

Yes. Additional licenses will be in the next download update, in process.

I had this same problem.

resolved.
1. Access the centralized-management
2- Configuration
        Servers
3- Make sure you are not connected (change of name to IP and place the User and Password)
