Manual Updates to Compliance Module data
I've been digging and digging and I can't seem to find any information on how to manually update the compliance info used to validate against the EMC Support Matrix. My Servers do not have direct connectivity to EMC through the Internet and configuring such may be months of effort. I know I don't have up to date info because when I'm trying to do manual matching of products to the Support Matrix there are current versions of things like Enginuity and HyperMax that just don't appear as options.
How can I manually update the data that is used internally for the compliance reporting?
If there is already a doc out there please point me in the right direction because I seem to keep missing it.

When you update to 3.7.1 it will include the latest eLab Support Matrix that was available when 3.7.1 shipped (either December or January, can't remember offhand).
I think what you're remembering is Online Updates, which will check SupportZone once per day and automatically download/stage any updates. If you aren't using Online Updates, then you can download patches manually. You can extract an individual package (e.g. the Compliance SP) and install just that if you don't want the whole patch.
We're working to separate the rules from the rest of the code, so they can be updated independently.

What version of SRM are you running? The Compliance rules are currently built into the SolutionPack, so to get the latest rules you should update to the latest SolutionPack (the one included with 3.7.1).

I'm running v3.7 but we have an update scheduled for next week to get to v3.7.1
I thought we were told in the Implementation and Maintenance course that the compliance rules download something automatically if the server has internet access but there would be a manual process if not. I just want to make sure you understand that it isn't the rules themselves that I'm worried about, but the charts/tables/whatever that are used to validate against for the EMC Support Matrix compliance rules. The data must exist somewhere to be used for the automated (or in my case manual) matching process. When I see an Enginuity version that isn't matched and I try to match it I can see all the versions that the system knows about but the newer ones aren't there.
Based on what you are saying a new version of Connectrix FOS will never be able to be matched until after the next upgrade of the compliance module with SRM Suite?

Thanks Dan. That's not the answer I was hoping for but it's better than it could have been.
