Upgrade

When I upload the new firmware a validation error appears, even if I' checked the hash before uploading

The number for Italy should be 800 013 746 or 800 318 975

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

Which model are you using? Which firmware version are you on and which one are you trying to go to?

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Can you try the upgrade through command line? Dell Unity: How to upgrade the Unity Operating Environment (OE) (User Correctable) | Dell US the second option in that article.

Fails also int this way

Says: Invalid or corrupt upgrade file image.

I've downloaded the file several times and I have checked the hash using Powershell

In my opinion the hash is correct

Try the steps here, Dell EMC Unity: Unable to upload upgrade file to system even though image is valid - error Code:0x6000cc4 (User Correctable) | Dell US

If that doesn’t work try reuploading directly through the cli

with uemcli -d [ip address] -u admin -securepassword -sslPolicy accept -upload -f /cores/service/[filename] upgrade

Beyond that you may need to call phone support so they can upgrade from the root account.

System time is correct, ntp is synching and the file validation via cli failed.

What phone number may I call? Italian support?
