Thank you for your earlier clarification regarding Unity OE version 5.5.0.0.5.259.

As part of our internal change management and risk assessment processes, we are currently evaluating potential upgrade paths for our Unity systems. While this version is publicly available and has been referred to as stable, we have noted that it is still not designated as a “Target” or “Recommended” code in the official Unity OE Revision Matrix: → OE Revision Matrix

To ensure alignment with Dell’s best practices and avoid introducing unnecessary risk into our production environment, we would appreciate it if you could provide clarity on the following:

Why has version 5.5.0.0.5.259 not yet been designated as a Target/Recommended release, despite being available since March and labeled stable?

Is there any internal guidance or pending qualification that is delaying this designation?

There are steps that have to be performed before an update can be marked as Target/ Recommended release. I am unsure where they are at in the process of making the release a target release, or when it will be upgraded.
