**Unity 380 Async Replication Sync Time

Hi, Thanks for always helping me.

Can I set the sync time to every hour while Unity is running?

Example: Last photo, sync time is updated 1 hourly......

Looking at the schedule, there is only one day unit. Help me

Hello http://dell.to/3UIahjB,

If RPO Time is 60 minutes, do you mean update from source to target every 60 minutes?

Yes, that is correct that if your RPO is set to every 60minutes that you should have a sync job run the same so that you can achieve your RPO.

After that, is this the final sync?

This can be the final sync if no data has changed.  If any data has changed then you will need to do another sync to keep the data current and matching.

Hello, Sam

I saw the URL you sent.

There is no option to set a specific ASync replication time in Unity.  You can only set the specific time by starting the ASync replication at one of the times you want the replication to occur.

-->

I don't understand the meaning.

Are you saying you can sync by 1-Day, and start syncing at the right time?

Thanks,,,

Hello https://dell.to/3UGnzNw,

That is correct that you can sync 1-day by starting the sync at the correct time.

Hi, Sam

DELL EMC White Paper

Hyeonkim_0-1670510211188.png

With asynchronous replication, updates to a destination storage resource happen at a set interval based on the defined RPO

--> If RPO Time is 60 minutes, do you mean update from source to target every 60 minutes? After that, is this the final sync?

I need your help.

Thanks,

1. Calculated by the system based on the set RPO value. Is it correct that the sync time is updated according to the RPO?

For example, RPO=5, synchronization every 5 minutes.

2. Does Time of Last Sync mean last update?

What RPO IS 60 Min, Time of Last Sync means is consequently 60Min

If the data is definitely changed 60Min, it will change every 60 Min, right?

thank you very much for answering the question
