Multiple RP clusters to 1 Unity splitter

Hello,

When I zone an RPA on a Unity splitter that already has another RPA (different cluster) attached to it, the Unity sees it as ONE host.
The initiators of the new RPA are automatically added to the existing Recoverpoint host on the Unity.
This is not what I want, the new RPA is a separate RP cluster and has nothing to do with the RP cluster, and all added LUNS, already on the Unity.
How can this be solved? Is there a way to add the RPA manually before it is automatically added?

Thanks!

I have received an answer.
Registering multiple RP clusters as separate hosts instead of all RP clusters as one and the same, unfortunately is not possible.
By design, all RPA’s are registered under ONE Recoverpoint host. No true multitenancy for separate RP clusters.
So pay attention > All clusters can see and use each other's LUNS.

Hello Sam

Thank you for your answer. These kb's are unfortunately not about the described problem and do not solve it.

Is it not possible to temporarily disable auto registration of hosts so that I can register the RPA manually?

Thanks!

Hello 10GB7200,

Have you tried to do the steps list in this kb under Unisphere for RecoverPoint?
