LDAP Configuration for Unity device

I have a Unity 380XT storage device and it is already on our company domain but does not use LDAP authentication for the web utility. I am wanting to setup a CAVA system for scanning the device and as I am reading the documentation, it seems I have to make sure that LDAP is configured on the Unity and as I am attempting to do so, I get the following error when I try to verify:

Could not connect to the LDAP server. Please recheck your LDAP configuration under Directory Services. (Error Code:0x6000193)

I do not have access to the numerous LDAP servers that our company has deployed so I cannot refer to any logging on that side of things. The logs in Unisphere also do not provide much help. I have tried some tips that I found within the community and nothing works. Any ideas OR is it actually required for the CAVA since both the Unity device and the CAVA system will be on the same domain already? Thanks.

LDAP authentication into Unisphere for Unity is not required for CAVA to function.  CAVA needs access to the file data you want to scan, and so will need a user account that your NAS servers recognize as having the correct privileges to do that scanning.  See https://dl.dell.com/content/manual22912931-using-the-common-event-enabler-8-x-on-windows-platforms.pdf?language=en-us chapter 4

Hi,

Page 18 talks about using active directory https://dell.to/3h2Lq8P

There are also some things that may help here https://dell.to/3Iclbce

Thank you for the additional information. I should be able to test and confirm if those helped sometime this week and I will mark as ACCEPT once I confirm. Thanks again.
