is there a way to shutdown a unity using putty or an api without giving any root credentials?
HI,
i'm using a unity 480F on different locations. some of those locations are very far.
in case of a powerfailure i want to make sure that the our powerchute can put out a command to make sure that the unity's are shut down properly.
i know that for the shut down procedure the service account credentials is needed.
is there any other way to do this or is there a way to make a new account with rights to shutdown the unity but nothing more?
thanks in advance,
Osman
