Block Import from VNX to Unity ssh timeouts
Hi when trying to create a connection between Unity and VNX using one of the SPs but are getting the following error:
Failed: The import ssh connection to source system has reached a 20 second timeout, please check if source system is still available. (Error Code:0x9000118)
I have no issues connecting to the VNX CS through Unity SSH but it takes a bit longer than 20 seconds which I'm guessing is the root cause of this issue.
Is there anyway we can raise this timeout value to see if that's the root cause of the issue?
Entering a faulty password fails the connectivity instantly.

Have you had a look at this KB article:
502700 : Unity: Import remote sys connection fails to configure with " Failed: The import ssh connection to source system has reached a 20 second timeout, please check if source system is still available. (Error Code:0x9000118)" (User Correctable) https://support.emc.com/kb/502700

Hi Chris!
Thanks a lot for your reply!
Yes, this was tested but it disables SSH on the entire CS for some reason making things even worse. Anything else that can be the root cause?

It shouldnt take 20+ seconds for login
open a service request to get it troubleshooted why it does in your case

Hi Chris
A bit of an update on this from my side.
When trying to run the suggested command over SSH remotely the CS stopped listening to SSH completely.
When going to the data center to rollback the change (again) i decided to give it another go via serial and it worked - Go figure
Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!
