Adding vCenter in Unisphere when hosts are booted from SAN (from Unity)
How do you vCenter that hosts boot from SAN to Unisphere.
You have to create normal host in Unity to show SAN Boot LUN to the host to get it up.
And only after that it will show up in Find ESXi on Unisphere.
But you cannot of course import that host because it was already manually created to boot from SAN?

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I don’t see a way around this limitation. Which version of Unisphere and Esxi are you using? Is the storage iscsi or fibre? https://dell.to/3V197Uu

Hi,
Fibre and latest version of Unisphere released this year...
So seems like I will not be able to use VMWare-awareness feature in Unisphere.
And also seems like you cannot "present" VMFS-luns in host configuration but you have to do that in VMFS-configuration....
