Venue 11 pro screen turns off

I honestly wish I could return this thing, I've had it a few years now and if its not one thing its another.

Atom processor model.

I have the hinging battery keyboard.  It started turning off the screen, like it seems to think you closed the lid, every 20 seconds or so with the keyboard attached, doesn't do it with the keyboard detached, making the keyboard unusable.  It just started doing this, been using it with the keyboard for months.

Went into control panel and changed close lid to do nothing, but that doesn't help.  Dell seems to completely ignore this setting as physically closing the lid still turns the screen off and it still randomly turns off on its own.
