Rugged Control Center: Minimize to tray?

I recently got a 7220 rugged tablet and I'm trying to understand why Dell's Rugged Control Center 4.1.147.0 doesn't have the ability to minimize to the system tray. It seems so silly that an app that requires minimal interaction after setting up, is designed to force the user to keep the application fully open and taking up valuable taskbar space in order to have the 3 quicklaunch buttons do anything. Is there some setting I'm overlooking? If not, can this be added as a feature request for future versions of this application? It seems so trivial to give the users of a high end device a reasonable control feature for that device.
