Put back, back on a Venue 11 Pro

So the 11 Pro has a neat clip off back to access the battery. Snapping off may be one thing, getting it back on is another. Any tips for getting it back on?

depending what you did before it might be that one or more of the top 4 clips are bend close. Try using a small screw driver and bend them a little more open. Happened to me first time I had to put it back on. Didn't paid attention that the top ones are slide ins not push in. :-)

Thanks, that worked for me! The top clips were totally folded.

Hello mole1066,

Thanks for your post. When installing the back cover of your Venue 11 Pro system, first align the small extruding clips along the top ‘camera’ edge of the cover with the slots on the system.

1.       Make sure the clips ‘1 in the diagram below’ are all inserted and flush with the outer edge, before folding down the bottom of the cover ‘2 in the diagram’.

There are several small clips located around the inside edge of the cover.

2. After making sure clips along the top edge are all inserted correctly run your finger around the edge of the cover pushing down lightly until all of the clips/ bumps in the cover have clicked into place.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply and the diagram. The issue I think I keep coming up against is the clip that is under the camera, so not any of the ones you have marked as '1'. this clip, is a clip with an edge rather than just a bump. it is this one that won't go in and so sometimes means that one of the 1's also pops out. From what I can see the far right and left 1's are clips and the rest are bumps. any extra comments? and also how much heat are the design team getting over this? It shouldn't be that hard to put the back on a tablet... Michael

I have this problem also, and following the instructions posted by the Dell rep does not solve it.

If I line up the tabs at top, as instructed, as soon as I carefully snap the rest all around, the ones on top pop out.  I can get the other 3 sides to close fine, but the top tabs will not stay engaged.
