On screen keyboard not working and i don't know how to turn the narrator off for dell venue tablet

I have a Dell Venue tablet and cannot get my on-screen keyboard she work it pops up but will not let me type in anything so I'm stuck on the password screen also the narrator is on and I do not know how to turn it off turn anyone help me
