Locked out of Dell Venue 8

My tablet is attached to an e-mail address that Microsoft deleted. They said they cannot reactivate the e-mail. I know how to factory reset, but I really don't want to lose my photos. Is there any way I can either transfer my photos to a hard drive, or get into my tablet to change the e-mail associated with it? This is a nightmare.
