Latitude 5285 Mobile Broadband Issue

We have a Latitude 5285 on trial from Dell and having issues with the mobile broadband feature.

Initally the mobile radio was always off so Dell sent a tech to replace the WWAN card. After replacing the card and updating the drivers we were able to connect to mobile broadband. After this I did a restart that installed Windows updates and after booting up the mobile broadband device could not be found.

I have since installed a fresh Windows 10 image on the device and updated drivers. The mobile broadband now just sits at searching for signal and goes no further. I am trying to connect to telstra in Australia.

Has anyone else had issues with the 5285 like above? Any workarounds that I can try to resolve the issue.
