Latitude 11 keyboard doesn't work with Venue 11 Pro 7140

I just boght a Latitude 11 slim keyboard to use it with my Dell Venue 11 Pro 7140, but it doesn't work. I know that suppose to be a physical connection, but my tablet doesn't detect it. Any suggestions on what to do?
