latitude 10st2

hello, I am new to the forum. I know the latitude is not a laptop, but there were no forums for tablets. I have a problem that I hope some one can help me with, I recently attempted to reset latitude 10 by  using  reset feature to revert back to clean win 10 install.  I bought unit used and previous owner updated to win 10 from win8.  I began the reset and all seemed well, but somewhere in the process , I think during a restart, I get an error message:  windows could not complete the installation. to install windows on this computer, please restart the installation.  there is an ok box in the error box but when pressed the tablet shuts back off then restarts with same message. this message occurs at  the dell screen very early in start-up. I don't know what to do.  the unit has been rendered useless.  hoping someone can help me.
