Have Know Idea how to fix or replace Venue 8 7840

Long story short , I had my original Venue 8 7840 replaced  because of a battery issue . My replacement venue 8 was great for the first 2 weeks then a host of problems started , its started getting really hot and the battery would drain in standby mode ,then the wifi and Bluetooth stopped worked and i factory reset it and now its stuck on the welcome screen but now i cant get to the service tag and because the tablet would get so hot , the express service tag sticker faded away the lettering. I've talked to so many people on technical support as well as customer care and nobody can find a record of my service tag. i just want to send my tablet in to get fixed, i'm open to any suggestions

Hi Makish16,

Thanks for posting.

Apologies that your replacement tablet is not working as expected.  Please contact Tech Support for assistance.  Your service tag number will be the original tag number of your order.  You can locate that information by logging in to your My Dell Account.  The agents can also look it up using your Customer and Order Numbers.  Thanks.

I don't think you understand his situation Robert. It seems very much that the dell venue is working as designed and expected. That is, it works for a short while and then quickly fails.

Strange coincidence that's what happened to both of my 7840's.
