Dell Venue Pro 3845 Windows 8.1 Tablet freeze on blue screen during reset

Hi,

I did a hard reset on my tablet. After the process completed, the screen freeze when it came to the blue screen which says, "Hi, Lets get a few basic things out of the way" (Screenshot below this post).

Nothing works when I click on Next or any part of the screen.

Please how do I unfreeze the screen and get back to complete the reset to bring me to the login screen.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Welcome to our community. Try the following steps:

1. Switch ON the tablet and switch OFF the tablet 3 to 4 times when the Dell logo appears.

2. This will make the system to go into ‘Advanced Startup Options’ screen.

3. Please select Troubleshoot option and choose the REFRESH option so that it refreshes the windows operating system or RESET option will completely reinstall the operating system on the computer but you will loss all data and you will need to reinstall the drivers.

Note: You may loss all of the data for performing above steps backup all data from the system before proceeding with steps.

4. Once completed you'll get back to the screen which you posted on our thread, let us know if it proceeds to the next page.

Hi Lijo, I just completed the steps like you advised. It came back to the same blue screen but the issue remains the same.
