dell venue pro 10 5055 frozen on Dell logo

My tablet was not turning on for some time but after watching a couple YouTube videos I managed to take the battery out and put it back in. When I pressed the power button the screen turned on and displayed the Dell logo. It stayed frozen displaying that until the battery drained. I tried to turn it back off but it wouldn’t. Please help!
